Lifetime FAQ

Lifetime Weight Solution Program Facts

1. Are there any contracts?

No! Lifetime Weight Solutions does not require you to sign any contracts.

2. What does the initial Doctor visit include?

The initial visit with the doctor includes a medical history, limited exam, blood pressure, weight, body fat, EKG, blood work, possibly a vitamin injection for cravings, one month supply of vitamins and in some cases additional medications for weight loss. After your initial visit, you are seen in the office on a weekly basis for blood pressure, weight, and body fat measurements, an injection if necessary and additional medications for weight loss if necessary.

3. How does the Lifetime Weight Solutions program work?

Dr. Meyer’s program is based on lowering insulin levels. This is accomplished by eating foods that affect your insulin as well as other hormones which affect weight loss and weight gain. When insulin levels are low, fat is burned instead of sugar and hunger is better controlled.

4. What if I have diabetes or high blood pressure?

We have a special program for patients with diabetes that dramatically lowers their sugar readings. We monitor your blood pressure every week and blood pressure medication usually has to be tapered off. We have had many patients that have stopped up to three (3) medications for diabetes and blood pressure after losing weight and lowering their insulin level.

5. Do you use hormones or human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) shots?

Our program does not involve the consumption of hormones by mouth or via cream or injection. Our supplements are natural vitamins and amino acids for energy. The uses of HCG are not supported by our program.

6. Is the Doctor board certified?

Dr. Robert M. Meyer, the Medical Director of Lifetime Weight Solutions, is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been in private practice in Internal Medicine in Southwest Orlando for over 25 years. More importantly, Dr. Meyer has been trained in the United States of America and has been through the program himself.

7. Are there any foods to buy?

There are no prepackaged foods that must be purchased from us. You can purchase all your food from the neighborhood grocery store.
